Ensors sponsorship of Eastern Angles Christmas show

Ensors Bury office partner, Robert Hatch, certainly made a big ‘hit’ with some of the cast of the Eastern Angles Christmas show The Mystery of St Finnigan’s Elbow.  However, it would appear he’s now in trouble with the teachers!  They’ve obviously seen how he prepares a set of accounts!

This year’s alternative Christmas panto is a tale featuring the ‘goings-on’ at an all-girls school and is sure to bring a festive stocking full of laughs and suggestive silliness from Ipswich to Woodbridge and then on to Peterborough!

“Ensors are very pleased to, once again, be supporting the Eastern Angles Christmas Show” said Robert Hatch.  “The cast and crew at Eastern Angles have excelled themselves in producing a sell-out show – and we are very proud to be a part of it.”  He continued, “In the year when Ensors celebrate the 125th anniversary of our founding father – Isaac Lott Ensor – becoming a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales it seems only fitting that we should share this auspicious occasion by supporting the work of another East Anglian institution – Eastern Angles!”

Ivan Cutting, Artistic Director at Eastern Angles said: “Financially, this is a very daunting time for the arts – that’s why business sponsorship, philanthropy and fundraising campaigns are so important. Ensors have been brilliant supporters of Eastern Angles for over 15 years, and we’re really grateful to them for investing in arts and culture.”

The Mystery of St Finnigan’s Elbow runs until 10th January 2014 at the Sir John Mills Theatre, Gatacre Road, Ipswich, moving to Seckford Theatre at Woodbridge School until 24th January.  Eastern Angles are then taking the whole production over to The Key Theatre in Peterborough for the final week to delight the good people of Cambridgeshire.
