Forensics partner Fiona Hotston Moore is pleased to welcome the news that University Campus Suffolk (UCS) has received approval to proceed to independent university status.

This news means that the university will be fully independent from the University of Essex and the University of East Anglia (UEA). They will also for the first time receive direct government funding which will enable them to expand its teaching.

Fiona who is also a board member at the university says “I am delighted that UCS has achieved this status which acknowledges all the hard work and dedication that the University has put in over the years. This progression to independent university status will greatly benefit the local community as well as being a major economic boost for the region. Ensors have a number of links with the university and we will continue to support them as they become the University of Suffolk from August.”
