Kirstie Bates

Kirstie joined Ensors as a trainee in 2015, where she began her accountancy studies after a career in business support. She achieved the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) qualification in 2017, followed by the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification two years later.

Based in the firm’s Ipswich office, Kirstie oversees the day-to-day operations of the Private Client team. As a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), she specialises in supporting sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and individual clients, to whom she provides specialist advice on their personal tax matters.

In 2025, Kirstie completed further study to obtain the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) diploma, cementing her as subject matter expert in the administration of Estates and Trusts.
