Hugh Simpson

Hugh joined Ensors in 2013. After four years in the Ipswich office, he moved to Bury St Edmunds and took on a predominantly agriculture-based portfolio; a natural progression having been raised on a mixed farm. In July 2025, Hugh was promoted to Associate Partner and leads the Ensors Agriculture team of experienced accountants.

With a confident and assured approach, he manages a large variety of owner-managed farming and rural businesses, ranging in type and size which is supported by his passion for the sector and hands-on farming experience.

Hugh is an avid supporter of farming and the countryside and is an elected member of the CLA Essex Branch Committee.
