We were proud to return as event sponsors of St Ed’s Runs – the Ensors Running Festival, which took place Sunday 30th October 2022. Starting at Bury St Edmunds’ Skyliner Sports Centre, participants had the option of completing various races, including a full marathon, half marathon, 10k and a family fun run. Everyone that took part in any of the four races received an Ensors jogger bottle and a medal to congratulate their achievement.
The St Ed’s running festival was established in 2016, and we were honoured to be asked to be part of it again this year. Not only are the events great for local runners, participants are also encouraged to collate donations in aid of Bury Town Pastors to support the local community.
Chris Barrett, Ensors Bury office partner said of the firm’s involvement “When the opportunity arose to support St Ed’s run, we were delighted to be involved once again. Last years event saw the runners battle against awful weather, and sadly it was not much better today but was still great to see so many tough it out to complete the course! Congratulations to all of the member of the community that took part and thank you to the team at HaverSports for all their hard work in the organisation of the event”.
