Ensors is pleased to announce their involvement in the recent sale of Karzees to an influential East Anglian construction sub-contractor.

Established in 2007 by Bill and Claire Nay, Karzees’ unique branding will be familiar to many in the local community. Priding themselves on outstanding customer service and high-quality units, the company has grown to become a leading specialist in the hire of portable toilets, welfare units, and storage containers for the events and construction sectors from their Suffolk headquarters.

Simon Martin, Ensors Corporate Finance Partner provided strategic advice throughout the sale process, which concluded in June 2025, with legal input led by Dan Billson of Prettys Solicitors.

The sale of 100% of Karzees’ shares offers a landmark opportunity for its purchaser by unlocking new revenue streams and the expansion of their subcontracting offering to clients across the region.

Bill Nay: “Building the Karzees brand has been a labour of love and an achievement which we are very proud of. We are pleased to have reached a deal with a buyer who is keen to maintain the ethos and reputation of the company.”

“We have been lucky to be supported by advisors who were always in our corner and able to offer advice on complex areas of the deal. Simon (Ensors) and Dan (Prettys) ensured the deal got over the line and we would thoroughly recommend them to other business owners thinking about a sale.”

Simon Martin said of the sale: “I was delighted when Bill and Claire approached me to support with the sale of their company. Having worked with Karzees for many years, Ensors has developed a deep understanding of their goals and aspirations for the business. I am thrilled with the positive outcome we have helped them to achieve, which ensures a bright future for all parties involved. I wish Bill, Claire, and the new owners all the best in their future ventures.”

Dan Billson “It has been a privilege to support Bill and Claire through the successful sale of their business. This marks the culmination of years of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to have played a part in securing a well-earned retirement for them both.”

The sale side legal team from Prettys included Daniel Billson, Zoe Zhang and Rebecca Cleal.
