Coffee Means Business – successful first event

MORE than 40 business people attended the launch of Menta’s Coffee Means Business at The Apex, Bury St Edmunds on the 11th September.

The events are targeted at small to medium-sized firms, providing a forum for them to meet up and make valuable business contacts over coffee. They will be held on the second Thursday of each month at The Apex.

Alex Till, chief executive of Menta said: “We have wanted to run Coffee Means Business in the town for some time and we’re extremely pleased to be working with Ensors Chartered Accountants who are sponsoring the events.

“Menta’s aim is to support business growth in Suffolk. By providing small businesses with an informal, friendly environment in which to network, establish new business contacts and make sales is one way we can make a difference.

“We have been hosting a similar event in east Suffolk for almost five years and we know Coffee Means Business is very popular with small firms due to its great networking opportunities.”

This month the speaker at Coffee Means Business was John Millar of The Green Chair who gave an interactive presentation providing tips on how to relax in stressful business situations.

The next Menta Coffee Means Business at The Apex will be held on Thursday 9th October, 9.30-11.30am. Booking is not essential and the cost is £2.
