The Ipswich Sporting Lunch club met at Wherstead Park, Ipswich on 23 September 2016 with some very special guests, to present Caleb Fuller (17) with a funding award to help achieve his potential as a basketball star.

Not long after touching down in the UK from Rio de Janeiro, Paralympic champions Zoe Newson, Ryan Crouch and Evie Edwards joined the club with former World Champion athlete Derek Redmond, to help raise funds to support their regions Olympic hopefuls. All three Paralympians have been in receipt of funding from the lunch clubs founding charity SportsAid and recognise how invaluable the support is.

The next Sporting Lunch will take place on 24 February 2017 with guest speaker Eddie ‘The Eagle’ Edwards.

Other sponsors are Pound Gates Chartered Insurance Brokers, Handelsbanken, Ellisons Solicitors, Corbel, StrategiQ and Picasso HR.
