Barry Gostling

Having completed his training with Ensors, Barry qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1994 and went on to take responsibility for the very successful Ipswich based Corporate Services team. He continued his studies and after being awarded with the ICAEW Diploma in Charity Accounting accepted an invitation to join the Ensors partnership.

Barry has responsibility for looking after portfolio of clients which comprises a number of local and multi-national businesses in a wide variety of sectors including Transport, Construction, Manufacturing, Educational establishments and Insurance services. He also takes a lead role with our pension scheme clients, both defined benefit and defined contribution and is an affiliated member of the Pension Management Institute (PMI). His ability in maintaining a busy and varied client portfolio enables him to provide workable solutions to problems and his reassuring, confident manner makes him a popular advisor with clients and staff alike.

In more recent years he has worked very closely with a number of ‘spin-out’ organisations and Academies as they ‘make the break’ from public sector, helping them get established and trade through the first few tentative years.
