Fiona Hotston Moore

Fiona is a chartered accountant and tax adviser with a distinguished career history in forensic accountancy, having provided valuable expertise in a variety of commercial, tax, matrimonial and criminal disputes and litigation.  She is a Practising Member of The Academy of Experts; an associate member of Resolution; on the panel of the ICAEW President’s Appointment scheme; an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist; and has enabled Ensors to join The Network of Independent Forensic Accountants (NIFA).

Having also worked in taxation, auditing and outsourcing with businesses in a variety of industry sectors, from retail financial services to agriculture, technology and media, Fiona can offer authoritative, practical advice and support on tax, strategy and accounting issues, including UK GAAP and IFRS.  She also contributed the introductory chapter for the NIFA Forensic Accounting and Finance’ book and, in 2017, won Partner of the Year award at the British Accountancy Awards.  National recognition to the contribution Fiona has made to the industry.

Fiona combines a hands-on, proactive approach with extensive specialist knowledge and commercial experience and as a keen commentator, Fiona writes regularly for the Ensors Blog and Huffington Post.

Before joining Ensors in 2014, she was Joint Head of Business Development at top-30 UK accountancy firm Reeves. Prior to that, as Managing Partner of MRI Moores Rowland LLP, she was one of only two women to run a leading UK accountancy practice.
