Nick Edgley

Nick has been developing his knowledge and experience of personal taxation since 1993, starting his career at Inland Revenue (now HM Revenue and Customs), where he gained a strong grounding in compliance procedures and legislation. He joined Ensors in 1998 and is now Director of the firm's Cambridgeshire personal tax team, based in the Huntingdon office.

Nick completed his Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) exams in 2018 with first time passes in all papers and an award for the highest marks in the November 2018 "Application and Interaction" paper.

Nick is a hands-on director with a practical, no-nonsense approach. As well as supervising and mentoring his team, he personally looks after the tax affairs of a wide ranging portfolio of individuals, trusts, sole traders and partnerships; overseeing the completion of Tax Returns and providing advice as necessary.  He also provides expert advice on UK residency and domicile issues, as well as helping a number of clients with issues relating to day-to-day administrative procedures, including PAYE and reporting of expenses and benefits.

Nick is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians, Association of Taxation Technicians and Chartered Institute of Taxation; and a regular speaker at the Ensors Budget Updates.
