Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1988, Mark went on to pass his Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) exams in 1999 and is now a licensed insolvency practitioner and one of the leading business recovery professionals in East Anglia. He specialises in personal and corporate insolvency work, including formal assignments, pension reviews and independent business reviews, as well as turnaround advice and assistance to companies, lenders and other stakeholders.

With around 20 years' experience in insolvency practice, Mark has worked in the Cambridge area since 2001. He was involved in the administrations of Cambridge United Football Club and, more recently, Diomed Limited, both of which resulted in the ongoing survival of the businesses. He is a member and sits on the Regional Committee of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals.
