'Team of Experts' update for professionals
Following our successful series of events last year, we will again be hosting our annual technical update for professionals this autumn.
The update, which was well received by over 100 fellow professionals across the East of England last year, will provide you with digestible technical knowledge specifically designed for the professional sector.
The speakers (our Team of Experts) include:
Fiona Hotston Moore – Forensic Accounting partner & Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist,
Mark Upton – Business Recovery partner & Licensed Insolvency Practitioner;
David Scrivener – Corporate Finance and Restructuring partner;
Robert Leggett – Corporate & Business Tax partner (Ipswich & Bury St Edmunds events); and
Tim Shaw – Corporate & Business Tax associate partner (Cambridge & Peterborough events)
Areas to be covered include:
- A review of current hot topics in the area of forensic accountancy including recent interesting cases.
- A review of recent cases that the Business Recovery Team have worked on including commentary on some of the high profile insolvencies in the news with a general overview of the market and the impact on local businesses.
- A review of the Ensors Corporate Finance team’s recent deals, trends in the industry and topical issues surrounding the sector.
- In a tax world changing faster than ever before, we will use our crystal ball to take a look at some of the tax issues which are expected to be key for business over the next twelve months.
This event is free to attend and will qualify for CPD. Attendance certificates can be provided if required.
Light refreshments will be served throughout and there will be time at the end to ask questions. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to talk more in depth with the Ensors speakers and network with fellow delegates.
