Fraud seminar - protect your business

With new cases hitting the headlines every week, we are all too aware of the devastating impact fraud can have on an organisation. Last year fraud losses to SMEs were estimated at £18.9 billion and affected as many as one in four businesses.
The threat of fraud can be wide ranging, from external infiltrators using the internet or computer networks demanding a ransom; to employees claiming to be someone (or something) they are not. Whatever the source, it will cause damage to an organisation and not just financially. Consider the impact upon your organisation’s reputation, customer confidence and staff morale.
To address this very real and growing problem, we have joined forces with Barclays Bank to deliver a free fraud seminar that will seek to address:
- Why cyber criminals continue to be successful;
- The ‘post fraud’ impact on affected organisations;
- A review of the internal fraud arena;
- What steps you can take to help prevent and deter fraud within your organisation; and
- If you identify or suspect fraudulent activity within your organisation, what you should do.
Date: Thursday 1 March 2018
Venue: The Mansion, Wherstead Park, The Street, Wherstead, Ipswich, IP9 2BJ
Timings: Registration is at 8am with complimentary breakfast rolls, tea & coffee. The seminar will start promptly at 8.30am and will finish at 9.30am with questions and answers.
