Accounting & Tax seminars

Following a rollercoaster year of changes and uncertainty, we are pleased to welcome Phil Frost and Mark Morton, experienced financial lecturers from Mercia Group Limited to deliver our annual Accounting & Tax seminars in Ipswich and Cambridge.

These free events will be relatively technical in content and will therefore be of real interest to qualified and trainee accountants, as well as business owners and financial staff. It will also qualify for CPD.

As experienced financial trainers, Phil and Mark will guide you through current accounting, financial reporting and tax practices. In particular they will include:

  • Issues arising from the implementation of the new accounting regime and the impact this has had on the annual accounts, filing obligations, credit ratings and covenant strength.
  • An update of tax changes from the Autumn Budget and other recent changes together with areas that might be of particular interest to HMRC who are becoming more active on the enquiry front.
