Audit and assurance

The days when Louise and the 2 other audit team members were in the Lapwing office went very well; it is a real achievement to make an audit visit a good experience! Sue Chesworth - Director Lapwing Suffolk Limited
Today, UK Charities operate in a highly regulated environment, having to comply with the Charities Act, Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) and other more general requirements. When it comes to auditing, at Ensors we understand these particular challenges and issues facing charities.

We believe that there is more to good auditing than just checking figures. All our audits are partner led and the teams include at least one qualified accountant. Our teams will take the time to form close working relationships with clients and consistently meet our high service standards and critical deadlines on every audit we undertake.

Whilst your final audit report will be shaped by statutory requirements, we will go that that bit further. For example, on every Charity audit we provide a final management report, giving detailed commentary on the accounts, analysis of the controls inherent in the charity and recommendations for the future.
  • Guaranteed expertise - all audit teams are led by qualified, experienced accountants.
  • Staff loyalty delivering long term continuity.
  • Independent Examination and full auditing services - including grant audits.
  • Friendly, jargon free approach, while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and technical standards.
