Charity review
The Charity Commission has announced the launch of a pilot project to help smaller charities review their financial controls and risk management procedures.
The initial project will offer charities the chance to receive a pro-bono review of their systems and controls by an ICAEW member with not-for-profit experience.
The results of the reviews are due to be collated on a no-names basis and will provide the Charity Commission with some detail about charities’ financial management and handling of risk.
