Ensors Charity Tennis

Following the success of last year’s event, we are holding another Ensors Charity Tennis event on Thursday 6 September at Ipswich Sports Club.  The event is open to all and will start at 12 noon with a Pimms reception and end at 5pm with a prize-giving ceremony.  Tennis will be played in-between and a light buffet lunch will be served.

The purpose of the day is to have some fun and raise money for a local charity, Somersham Ward Cancer Unit Support Group.  A small, dedicated charity who work hard to support the patients (and families) being treated at the cancer unit in Ipswich hospital.

There will be various other activities running during the afternoon to keep you moving including a fastest serve competition and the very popular ‘racketball experience’.  In addition, the Ipswich Sports Club coaching staff will be on hand to help hone those tennis skills.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank Ipswich Sports Club and the club coaching staff who have very kindly donated their services free of charge.

How to enter

Entry is for 'doubles' teams but they can be either men’s, women’s or mixed doubles. 

The registration fee per team is £100 and all monies will be donated to Somersham Ward Cancer Unit Support Group.
