John Matthews

Having qualified as a chartered accountant in 1983, John joined Ensors in 1984, becoming a partner in 1995. He takes a keen interest in enterprise and has helped many new business ventures become established, grow and develop, including several of the technology start-ups and spin-outs from the BT Brightstar business incubator facility at Martlesham.  John has wide ranging experience of dealing with early stage companies as well as established businesses.

John is a mentor to Innovation Martlesham, the incubator unit at BT Adastral Park, The School for Social Entrepreneurs at the Eastern Enterprise Hub and Enterprise Tuesday at University College Suffolk. 

An active member of the local business community, John regularly attends events across Suffolk. He has particularly strong links with companies based in and around Felixstowe port.
